THE ROLE OF GRANULAR HUMIC ACID  IN CROP GROWTH

Granular humic acid is  essential soil conditioners derived from natural leonardite. These substances play a vital role in improving soil health and enhancing plant growth, especially in depleted or sandy soils. As stable organic compounds,  granular humate are widely used in sustainable agriculture to promote nutrient availability and stimulate microbial activity in the rhizosphere.

Both granular humate support the retention of essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, helping to reduce nutrient leaching and improve fertilizer efficiency. Granular humate also play an important role in breaking down heavy metals and detoxifying soils.

Moreover, because granular humic acid is insoluble in water, it can be applied directly to the soil for slow and sustained release. This makes it an excellent additive in controlled-release fertilizer formulations, providing long-term benefits to soil and crops.

EFFECTS OF GRANULAR HUMATE ON CROPS:

Improves soil structure: Enhances aeration, water retention, and root penetration.
Boosts microbial activity: Promotes beneficial microbes that contribute to soil fertility.
Increases nutrient uptake: Facilitates better absorption of essential minerals and fertilizers.
Supports stress resistance: Helps plants cope with drought, salinity, and transplant shock.

super potassium application

Soil Application

Use as base fertilizer before planting. Ideal for poor soils: alkaline, sandy, acidic, saline, or lime-rich.

Dosage: 50–100 kg/ha, applied 2–3 times during growth, ideally in combination with N & P fertilizers.

-

Furrow Application (Fruit Trees)

Bury near the root zone with a dosage of 1–2 kg per tree.

-

Seed Soaking

Dilute to 0.01%–0.03%, adjust pH to 7.2–7.5. Soak for 12–24 hrs at ~20°C depending on seed type.

-

Fertigation

Mix into irrigation water at 50–100 kg/ha or 0.01%–0.05% concentration for even nutrient delivery.
